Thai Clay Flowers

ROSES: A rose is a woody perennial of the genus Rosa, within the family Rosaceae. There are over 100 species. They form a group of erect shrubs, and climbing or trailing plants, with stems that are often armed with sharp prickles. Flowers are large and showy, in colours ranging from white through yellows and reds. Roses are a popular crop for both domestic and commercial cut flowers. Generally they are harvested and cut when in bud, and held in refrigerated conditions until ready for display at their point of sale.

CARNATION FLOWER: The carnation , scientifically known as Dianthus caryophyllus, is a historically rich and meaningful flower choice. With its scientific name dianthus roughly translating to "flower of love" or "flower of the gods", depending on the source, this flower is one that has been revered for centuries. One of the world's oldest cultivated flowers, the carnation is appreciated for its ruffled appearance, clove-like scent, and extended blooming period.

Now I have tried to create using Thai clay.

NOTE: In my Course this flower is offered as Demo flower free of charge.

LOTUS FLOWER: is a plant in the monogeneric family Nelumbonaceae. This plant is an aquatic perennial. Under favorable circumstances its seeds may remain viable for many years, with the oldest recorded lotus germination being from that of seeds 1,300 years old recovered from a dry lakebed in northeastern China.
I have tried to make this lotus arrangement using Thai Clay.

SUNFLOWER got its name from its huge, fiery blooms, whose shape and image is often used to depict the sun. The sunflower has a rough, hairy stem, broad, coarsely toothed, rough leaves and circular heads of flowers.

This flower is also made using Thai clay.

Cattleya Orchid is among the most popular cultivated orchid in the world. A member of the Orchidaceace family, the cattleya genus contains over 113 species of orchids from Costa Rica to South America. It is an epiphyte, or air plant, that grows naturally high in the trees of tropical forests.

I made this Cattleya using Thai Clay and arranged as a plant.

GLADIOLOUS FLOWER: It is a genus of perennial bulbous flowering plants in the iris family. These flowers are variously colored, pink to reddish or light purple with white, contrasting markings, or white to cream or orange to red. This flower is also made using Thai Clay.
